Starting from humble beginnings as a small bootcamp in Surry Hills, today, we are a national brand on a mission to “Inspire Change” in the Global Fitness Industry.

In March 2023, Fitness Playground became One Playground. This change represents our move beyond just fitness, and aesthetics, to become an all-encompassing Playground for all things health and fitness.

We’re in the midst of our biggest growth phase yet, 2025 saw the successful launch of three new Super Boutique clubs in Haymarket, Merrylands, and North Sydney, with even more exciting openings already on the horizon for 2026.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our membership team as a Relationship Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and growing relationships with our members to enhance their experience, and drive the growth of our clubs. It is a people oriented role that requires great interpersonal skills, a passion for helping others and a genuine interest in health and fitness.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Member Experience Management.

• Support One Playground members through their entire journey to ensure a great experience.

• Recommend the correct classes, coaching and equipment to drive member success upon joining.

• Manage member complaints and cancellations, to ensure a positive outcome for the customer and club.

• Contribute to the club being immaculately presented at all times.

• Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with both members and staff.

• Improve customer feedback and retention rates.

2. Sales & Direct Marketing

• Complete sales processes to effectively convert enquiries to become new members.

• Facilitate the integration of new members and upsell them into personal training and group training programs.

• Deliver impactful direct marketing communications, including SMS and email campaigns.

• Proactively establish and manage corporate business partnerships and agreements.

• Execute lead activations to drive incremental membership enquiries.

3. Multi-Department Performance

• Achieve monthly personal targets for new sales, upselling, and cross-selling.

• Ensure that the Personal Training Department achieves client targets.

• Increase members’ usage of group training classes, workshops and events.
